I guess it stems from the sense that as one gets older there seem to be fewer and fewer surprises. And so, I every once in a take random shots, don’t look in the viewfinder, just snap. Or, like today, I set it on the ground where I can’t see what it sees. Afterward, I don’t look at them until I upload them onto my computer. These are today’s surprises.
