Lilacs And Dog Breath

Fur askew after a night ensconced on the floor of someones room, I get a furry head and doggy breath from Irish. This warms me as much as the coffee I’m drinking, as she nestles her head into my lap for her morning scratch.

Out the door we go for her morning constitutional, I with my cylinder of sin and she with her nose in the air, and the heady scent of Lilacs in full bloom greet us with the morning light.
