The Best Of ¦ so blue, part two

These photos were taken December of 2012, that last winter I was at Irish Lake. Winter up in Grey County could be both brutal, and beautiful.

“If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy, if a blade of grass springing up in the fields has power to move you, if the simple things in nature have a message you understand, Rejoice, for your soul is alive”. Eleanora Duse

“I thank you God for this most amazing day, for the leaping greenly spirits of trees, and for the blue dream of sky and for everything which is natural, which is infinite, which is yes.” e.e.cummings

“May flowers always line your path and sunshine light your day. May songbirds serenade you every step along the way. May a rainbow run beside you in a sky that’s always blue. And may happiness fill your heart each day your whole life through.” Irish Blessing

“I never saw a man who looked with such a wistful eye
upon that little tent of blue which prisoners call the sky.”
Oscar Wilde
