They can be…difficult in that you are taking photographs for someone that they will keep for a lifetime, if not generations. You do have to enjoy working with people, organizing the shoot in a structured way, all which are things I personally find stressful :)
Bring an assistant. Someone to arrange, notice the details you might miss (hair out of place etc). Also, take lots of candid shots, often those shots are where the magic happens.
