These Shoes Were Made for Me

Cork Shoes on Cork-001
I love them. I remember when I walked into the store and found them, sitting there on the shelf, whispering “take me home“. I couldn’t resist. I wore them to work a couple of days ago and I had not wore them in years (not much call for funky cork wedge shoes in the bush). It felt FANTASTIC walking around in them, not the least of which is that they make me like 2 1/2 inches taller – at 5’2”, that’s a GREAT feeling.

Needless to say, Tim LOVED them maybe even more then I did. The whole day as I pranced around, drawing a bit of attention, I thought of him and it made me smile.

    • AND they are so fun to wear, and comfortable. I do not wear high shoes often…totally a ballerina flat kinda gal…but life is just too short to waste ALL your time being practical. 😉
