This is the first “BLESSING FOR SUNDAY” post. The idea is simple ~~ I randomly pick a blessing from this book I have ‘Irish Blessings’, compiled with an introduction by Ashley Shannon, Running Press c1999
This is something I started to do in the winter of 2010 every morning at the kitchen table…I would say “thank you spirits of white light and goodness” and then pick one out randomly. So here is today’s …
May you have food
and raiment,A soft pillow for your head;
May you be forty years
in heavenBefore the devil knows
you’re dead.
Sweet blessing!
