Looking At It Another Way

They call me Euston, and what you see today was not alway so. I have been many things, been raped, abandoned, and abused. Although it has been decades, I know some wounds will never heal; remnants of my garbage pit days of yore.

I first met Euston in the 90’s, back when I was married. It was all in the open, and we would even bring our dog with us on our encounters. Back then it was very different, Euston was not yet recognized as significant, and there was no protection, and that worried me. But today, well, I have fallen in love all over again.

They call you Euston, yet I know your true name, the one I gave you. Where once was, so shall it be again, it is the only way. Through you, Euston, I speak to them; for those awake enough to understand.
