A woman on her own

You see, any talent I have I owe to her. Not just genetically, but by her encouragement and her passion that I pursue what she was unable to. It was her that insisted I go to BealArt rather than go back for Grade 13 and maybe University. She saw in me a talent she said. The Baffin Island Yacht Club

I arrived in the ‘burbs of the “Big Smoke” (Toronto) as a refugee a year after the death of my Mom and a failed attempt at doing the web design thing full-time back in ‘Dodge’. After 9/11 the US tourist industry in the Haliburton/Muskoka region (aka Cottage Country) dried up significantly and since the Web firm I was freelancing for worked from there, so did my commissions.
